This 202 rooms resort, which opened in 1990, is built on a 23 acres beach front and designed by the Hawaii based largest hotel architects in the world, Wimberley Whisen and Allison Tong & Goo. The Resort incorporates many Goan elements from the sloping red tiled roof to the red laterite stone clad pillars and Goan artifacts, all blended into a Deluxe Resort.

The Ramada Caravela Beach Resort has a total number of 192 rooms, 4 suites and 6 villas.
Our rooms are categorized as standard and superior.
The resort offers a pool or golf view from the superior rooms, the standard rooms over look lush green gardens.
ACCOMMODATION
All rooms and suites are either double or twin bedded with individual controlled air-conditioning, large private bath, massage shower and hair dryer. International direct dialing telephone, coloured television with satellite channels (BBC, CNN), mini bar, 220 V shaving socket are standard. Adaptors are also available on request. Each room has a balcony or a terrace for extra privacy, overlooking the landscaped gardens and pool view. Room for the handicapped available on request.
GREEN GARDEN (Standard Room) :These rooms are garden facing and are also known as Standard rooms.
POOL TERRACE (Standard Room) :These rooms are all on the ground floor and face the pool.
OCEAN VIEW (Superior Room) :These rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors and are basically pool facing and also have a partial view of the sea.
OCEAN WAVES (Superior Room) :These are rooms overlooking the sea.
JUNIOR SUITE :These are situated on the second floor and are pool facing.
DELUXE SUITE :These are situated on the third floor and are pool and sea facing.

THE LANAI
Lanai our lounge is an extension of our coffee shop,the 'Cafe Cascada' located at the pool level,the Lanai has a view of the pool.
An idyllic setting with a waterfall,the Lanai offers you a variety of cuisine to choose from for breakfast and dinner, be it Indian, Goan or Mediterranean food to a snack.
CAFE CASCADA
Cafe Cascada is an air conditioned restaurant located in the lower level with a view of the swimming pool and cascading waterfall. Open 24 hours serves Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, also a wide variety of mini meals and light snacks
Also located in the lower level is the Lanai having a view of the pool and fountains. Open from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving Indian, Continental and Goan cuisine.
SUNSET BAR
A picturesque bar located on the beach with a scintillating view of the Arabian Sea and a perfect location to enjoy the Sunset.
Sip on a chilled Beer or a wide variety of cocktails. Open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily during season.
THE CARNAVAL
This air conditioned candlelit "a la carte" restaurant, located on the lower lobby level is open for dinner only.
Serving Mediterranean / Multi Cuisine with a superb selection of international wines, the restaurant is very popular with residents. Open on every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday From November to May and daily from June to October.
CASTAWAYS
Serving Grills, Barbeque and Goan specialities, in addition to the daily "Theme" buffet dinners with live music and dancing, served around the poolside.
Castaways operates as Seasonal Restaurant and is closed on every Monday.
Polynesian Hut
a speciality restaurant serving authentic Oriental cuisine and a wide variety of local and imported spirits. Open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Sussegado
A speciality restaurant serving authentic Goan and grilled seafood. Typical Goan surrounding and setup and very beautiful view of the Oceon. Open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
MEETING AND BANQUETING FACILITIES
Meeting rooms with a full compliment of modern conference facilities. Total seating capacity upto 400 people in theatre style, 90 - 100 "classroom" conference style and 500 during a reception or wedding.
